MySport.pro is a platform designed to help users find, create, and join sporting events globally.

Users of MySport.pro must be 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under 18. If you are under 18, please do not use our Service.

A. Information You Provide to Us Directly:

  • Event Participation Data: When you create or join an event, we collect:

    • Specific Location details for events
    • Participation History
  • User-Generated Content: You may provide personal information when you:
    • Participate in in-app chats and messaging with other users.
    • Upload photos of events.
  • Communications: Information you provide when you contact us directly (e.g., customer support inquiries).

B. Information Collected Automatically:

When you access and use the Service, we automatically collect certain information:

  • Usage Data: This includes your IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, time spent on pages, referring URLs, and clickstream data.
  • Device Information: We collect information about the device you use to access the Service, including the device type, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
  • Location Data: We collect precise location data from your device, primarily to help you find and participate in local sporting events. You can manage location services through your device settings.

C. Information from Third Parties:

  • Payment Information: While we do not directly process your payment card details, we use Stripe as our third-party payment processor. When you make a payment through MySport.pro, your payment information is provided directly to Stripe, not stored by us. Stripe's use of your personal information is governed by their own Privacy Policy, which we encourage you to review.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for various purposes, primarily to provide, maintain, and improve MySport.pro, as well as to communicate with you:

  • To Provide and Maintain the Service: This includes enabling you to register accounts, create and join events, manage your profile, and access core functionalities of MySport.pro.
  • Event Management & Communication: To send you specific event notifications, updates about events you're interested in or participating in, and to facilitate communication between event organizers and participants within the app.
  • Personalization: To personalize your user experience, such as suggesting events or sports based on your preferences, skill level, and location.
  • Improvement & Troubleshooting: To analyze usage patterns, understand how users interact with our Service, troubleshoot technical issues, and improve our app's features and performance.
  • Security: To protect MySport.pro and our users from fraudulent activities, unauthorized access, and other security threats.
  • Compliance with Legal Obligations: To comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes.

4. How We Share Your Information

We share your information in specific circumstances as described below:

  • With Other Users (Within the Service):
    • When you join an event, your Full Name and Profile Picture will be visible to the event organizer and other participants within that specific event.
    • Your user profile (including your Full Name, Profile Picture, and potentially sport preferences/skill level, depending on your profile settings) is generally public and visible to other MySport.pro users. Please be mindful of what you share on your profile.
    • User-generated content (photos and chat messages) uploaded within an event is accessible to all users participating in that specific event.
  • With Third-Party Service Providers:
    • We use Google Firebase for hosting, database management, and other backend services. Your data is stored on Firebase's secure infrastructure.
    • We use Google Analytics to understand how users engage with our Service, which helps us improve. Google Analytics collects data, typically on an aggregated basis, to provide us with insights into user behavior.
    • Stripe processes all payment transactions. We do not store your full payment card details.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court order or government agency request).
  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, asset sale, or other business transaction, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change in ownership or control of your personal data.

We do NOT sell or rent your personal data to third parties for their marketing purposes.

As our data is stored on Google Firebase, which operates globally, your information may be transferred to, and processed in, countries outside of the UK and the European Economic Area (EEA). These countries may have data protection laws different from those in your jurisdiction.

Google Firebase implements measures to ensure your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable laws, including reliance on Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers of personal data from the EEA to countries not deemed to provide an adequate level of data protection.

While we strive to protect your personal data, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
